I discovered this treasure on the way to Tombstone, AZ. Filled with western art
Bronze sculptures, alabaster figures, Paintings and wall art. From whimsy to contemporary art. The resident sculptor, Tim Trask, was working on a more than life size sculpture of Ed Scheffelin, the founder of the famous western town of Tombstone. I was invited to tour his art studio where I saw the original sculpture of Wyatt Earp just like the monument that stands in Tombstone.Tim is a famous bronze artist whose work ranges from western art to mythical figures to Budda solemly observing everyone. It was an incredible experience. I was able to see the sculpting, molding, and finishing process as Tim Trask explained how a sculpture becomes a bronze. The gallery is painted beautiful blue and is right on highway 80, St David which is located in Cochise county. A must see gallery when you are in the area.
