Sculpting a woman from start to finish

Just finished a nude sculpture of a woman holding a dove. Here are images of the whole process from start to finish. Starting as slabs and then rough sculpted in different poses, she seemed to evolve from fantasy to tribaland then back to a fantasy piece. First she held a raven or blackbird, then I decided on a peace dove which will have the traditional olive branch when finished.A great departure from my Indians and horses and bears and Southwest characters. Instead, a more traditional clay sculpture. This piece was very challenging and I had to get out the books and calipers to check proportions. She is long limbed and not to scale but I accomplished the nude figure sitting in an elegant pose.
